Who We AreWe are passionate travelers. We have criss-crossed Asia – always marveling at the diversity of cultures and tantalizing cuisines, always captivated by the warm friendly people, and continually in awe of the beauty of the natural and built environments. We are a small tour company dedicated to sharing some of our memorable personal travel experiences with you. Our specialty is Southeast Asia. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with personal attention to their comfort and their vacation desires. Our small group tours proceed at a leisure pace, rather than in a “different day-different city” rush, allowing more time to experience and become immersed in a culture. We want to ensure that each traveler feels rejuvenated at the end of his or her vacation! Tourism is a big business in Asia. It is difficult to completely avoid being a tourist, especially when visiting a country for only a few weeks. But culture can be merely perceived or truly experienced. We go beneath the touristic surface by creating opportunities that allow you to experience the culture. For example, we visit the homes of artisans, weavers, and musicians, and we can arrange personalized tours to museums and private collections. Our personal relationships with local people and institutions result in meaningful and memorable encounters for our participants. We strongly believe in social and environmental responsibility. Despite cultural differences, we all live on planet Earth, and our actions create local and global ripples. We believe in sharing and giving back. In our own travels, we have researched many local non-profit organizations dedicated to protecting and improving the natural environment, preserving centuries-old cultural heritages, or improving the lives of the local people. We support these organizations by giving back to the communities we visit by either volunteering at their organizations or providing financial support. We also support tourism-related businesses in each host country that reflect our own commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
